***Urgent, I am about 10 minutes from boiling***

Hey guys I collected about a little more than a half gallon of wort (can't fit it in my kettle). I was wondering if I could boil down the wort for about 20 minutes and then add the remaining wort, AND THEN add my first and only hop addition. After this I would boil for an additional 60 minutes. Would this be okay? I don't want to be inefficient and throw away the leftover wort.

I'm brewing an oatmeal stout if anyone needs to know.

IMO If the wort in your kettle is at the gravity you were trying to hit then I wouldn't add it.

I wish I had your problem. I am always struggling to get enough.
