91%. I know I messed up the triangle question - I was never very good at geometry or math. Not sure what else I missed, but I nailed the history questions.

FWIW, my high school was a joke. I was the Valedictorian, and I'm no genius. I pretty much coasted through 4 years without being challenged, so you can imagine how much everyone else learned, too.

86% -I always screw up the art questions. Also, that quiz's answer to the immaculate conception question is wrong, so I'm saying 91%. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!:)

I scored 97%. Not bad since the last grade I ever completed was 9th.

Though in my own defense I must admit that 6 months later I got a GED while in basic training. I also have an AA degree (1984) and 20 plus more credits than required for a BA. I have no valid reason to finsh since I will be retiring in less than 3 years and don't ever plan on working a real job again.:D

Yeah, I got 137%. Not bad considering I never learned to speak or communicate in any form of language, don't own or know how to operate a computer, and haven't really got around to being born yet.

I got a 97 too ! It helps that I'm not out behind the shop smoking dope now. I never made grades like that in high school, except in Marine Occupations. I can still hang a gill net like a mofo! Build a crabpot, too !

It's a trick question, and I almost put "Jesus" on that one. Had to read it carefully--key word is "conception".
Anyway, I got a 91%. Probably missed the art questions, too.
Only got a 40% on this one, though. http://www.gotoquiz.com/are_you_informed

I scored 100%, but I definitely had to guess on the cubism and world's largest religions questions. Grammar wasn't my strong point (nor is it), so I took an educated guess at the dangling modifier question.

CC probably got the 37% extra credit on the cubism question since he was recently in Cuba.

97% corrected to 100% because I got the Jesus question right...Jesus was conceived. If Mary was conceived during the Immaculate Conception, she would had to have given birth to herself...perhaps more of a miracle then the virgin birth!

After arguing with the wife (catholic school girl) I finally had to look this one up:http://www.m-w.com/dictionary/conception

wait, but the immaculate conception DOES refer to the conception of mary.... she was born without original sin -- hence, her conception was immaculate. this does NOT refer to her miraculous virgin pregnancy -- that came significantly after she was immaculately conceived...
cf. the wiki ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immaculate_Conception ) or the catholic encyclopedia if you prefer more legitimate sources ( http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/07674d.htm ) -- also, catholic.com has a very simple explanation ( http://www.catholic.com/library/immaculate_conception_and_assum.asp )

...yeah, like at the Council of Nicea in the 4th Century...up until then no one (but the catholic mafia) believed Jesus was the son of God...;)

I like the 3rd definition: it all in the head...;)

One of the reasons Jews don't believe Christ was the Messiah is because the Messiah is supposed to come from the House of David...if Jesus were immaculately conceived then there could not have been a blood line from Joseph since sex and subsequent sperm transfer did not take place...makes perfect sense to me...I can see where they are coming from on this one.

I'm not trying to start anything here. These are just some comments me and a Jewish friend talked about one day over a beer. BTW, beer is kosher.

FWIW, I was raised Roman Catholic and did the most of 9 years in catholic schools...the Irish are funny that way...

I'll concede too, but I swear that 's not what they drilled into my head during my 12 years of torture by nuns(er- I mean 12 years of Catholic Education).:cross:
