Apple Ale: With fruit beers becoming more and more popular, this is a great twist on a variation. This kit includes apple flavoring to add at bottling, or you have the option of adding UNPASTEURIZED cider to the primary fermenter. This results in not only a crisp apple flavor, but adds more fermentable sugar. Our ingredients for this kit include 6 lb. Gold liquid malt extract, 1 lb. Gambrinus Honey malt, 1 lb. of brown sugar, 4 oz. apple extract, 1 oz. Hallertauer hops, yeast, priming sugar and a grain bag.

Lupo, didn't they mean PASTURIZED? to kill off the wild yeasties, per so many other recipes.
