Stuart Mackenzies Old Chubby Strong Scotch Ale

Type: All Grain
Date: 5/5/2011
Batch Size: 5.50 gal
Brewer: Barry Gruis
Boil Size: 6.51 gal
Boil Time: 60 min
Equipment: Storm Mountain Brewing Company
Brewhouse Efficiency: 70.00
Taste Notes: This is a "rough" interpreation of two of my favorite things in the world. Old Chubb (Strong Scottish) form Oskar Blues and my favorite Scotsman...Stuart Mackenzie (So I married an Ax murderer...possibly Mike Myers best movie charecter).

I just tried this beer last night and I am super happy with it. I want my Strong Scottish to be the opposite of an IPA.....Let the Malt come forward and steal the show. With this beer I think I accomplised the task.
