Hello all,

I was thinking of a good way to utilize hops to a higher potential than a hop spider. What if you had some type of cage, with nylon as the walls, that have a type of fan or propeller that will force the wort through the hops cage.

Questions for those smarter and/or more opinionated than I:
Would this be over kill and would a hops spider work fine?
or
Would this be a good idea but not developed enough?

Thanks in advance,

Chip

P.S. If you don't understand what I am getting at, I can make a crude drawing to help convey what I am saying.

I don't see any benefit. There is plenty of convection in the kettle from the boil. A hop spider with a large bag works just fine.
