It came out pretty cheesy but I'm really trying to get the hang of my video editing software. Maybe it can help a few new brewers.

You'll find a ton of opinions on this. Personally, I think it works just fine as long as you have a sanitizing cycle (the heat is doing the sanitizing, not the water - though you'll even find some differing opinions on this...). However, I don't do it because it takes forever for my dishwasher's sanitizing cycle to complete, even with 135 degree water coming from the water heater only about 15 feet away. I do like using the dishwasher for cleaning the bottles, though. As long as you first rinse them well, leaving no sludge, they come out sparkling, inside and out, ready for storage.Spyk'd said:Why not just use the dishwasher on a high temp or sani rinse mode and heated dry to sanitize?
