I have been writing this code for a while now and got sidetracked for a few months during a house change. The time has come now to get it finished up and what better motivation than to post it online and let you guys keep me on task.

Quick and dirty: I wrote it with an all electric HERMS brewing system in mind. So far I have just been able to test it with some spare electronic heaters laying around, but am about to finally build out my electric brew station to really put it to work.

Heres a screenshot from my iPAD.

Ill get a video posted later of it in action.

Here is a quick video I shot... quality sucks, but I was using my iPhone to record a video of my iPad, Ill get a better video when I have more time. Also I was connected to Compubrew over the web so its a little laggy.

Right now there is still a lot of polishing left to do on the software, and the hardware side is still coming together. As of right now I have the temperature probes and relays all functioning, but I need to decide which relays will handle what. I have also decided to start simple and leave out the volume measurement functionality until later.

Here is a pic of my hacked together pc for prototyping.

So far I have only run tests using an aquarium heater, but I have my hot water heater ready and waiting for me to bite the bullet and buy a kettle.

Feel free to subscribe to my other threads, I am in the process of building a keezer and plan on hooking it up inside my new bar area this weekend and I might need your input! (check my sig for the links)

Got a chance to test fire Compubrew last weekend and took a few videos.

Almost went off without a hitch... only issue was the digital temp probes that I built would occasionally give me a strange error, I can only assume there was a grounding or a shielding issue with the probe. Currently I am just using some cat5 cable to connect my probe, gonna try and grab some better shielded wire and see if that helps.
