Hey guys I just went to Midwest and accidentally got a Hop Scare I.P.A instead of Hop Head Double I.P.A. I just noticed right now:mad: So I have a Wyeast American Ale 1056 that was supposed to be for the I.I.P.A but the Hop Scare calls for Wyeast American II #1272 or White Labs California V #WL051. Will the yeast I have now be ok? Ill list the ingredients below.

11.5 lbs Domestic 2 Row Malt
1lb Caravienne
1oz Yakima Magnum
1oz Amarillo
2oz Cascade

You should be just fine. 1056 will leave a slightly cleaner, drier beer, but it will be very very good.

Thanks a lot JLem. Man I'm so disappointed I really wanted to brew that Hop Head. Oh well I guess Ill do it some other time. Ill let you know how it turns out.
