Any Ruggers on this board?

Just wanted to know if there were any fellow, or former, rugby players on the board. Just seemed like a natural progression to go from rugby --> beer drinking --> beer brewing haha. Take it easy!

P.S. I played for Saint Joe's University Rugby Football Club and thats Saint Joe's in Philly, Go Hawks! I live on Long Island in NY and hopefully I'll be playing for Long Island RFC or Montauk RFC in the near future (this fall). Anyone else from LI here??

Yes indeedy, been playing for 18 years meself, started at age 11, through school and into club rugby - Wanderers RFC in Dublin, Ireland. Got injured last year though, seperated my AC joint, so not played since then!

I played quite a few years ago, out of high school. I got back too late to walk on to play football for the university, so I thought I would play Rugby to stay in shape. I eneded up liking rugby more!!!! @ years for the university, and 2 years for a club. Jeff
