Fermentables not fermented

What happens, out of curiousity, if you keg a beer that didn't ferment out all the way to it's final gravity, leaving "sugars" in the beer? Not that I did this or anything;)
 
It will continue to ferment as long as it is at a suitable temp...
 
It is not at a suitable temp...38F. I am concerned with how the human body reacts to fermentables left in the beer....I am rather windy.
 
It is just sugar... so, Id presme it would taste sweet and well, that is about it. It is just sugar.
