Looks good, your hop schedule is a little hard to read but it looks like its basically continuously hopped with simcoe and amarillo.

The hop schedule looks very similar to mine that I call ama/coe IPA. I use a magical hop called the ama/coe that is only found in my garage. (OK, I just mix the amarillo and simcoe together at the beginning of the brew since I want to use the same amounts of each.)

Thanks I cleaned up the formatting but its

.5 oz Sim/Ama - 60
.5 oz Sim/Ama - 30
.5 oz Sim/Ama - 15
.5 oz Sim/Ama - 5
1 oz Sim/Ama - Dry

I think the hop schedule looks very good. I imagine this will be a mildly hoppy darker pale(close to amber), maybe? With all those specialty malts, I'm sure it will have a complex malt profile, the Vienna is a great addition for sure. I'm not sure about the 60 and the munich, never used them in a pale ale. I'm sure it will be delicious though.

I came up with a very similar APA recipe, except mine lacks the munich, and its all 2row. Anyway, I first wort hopped mine with an oz of Amarillo. it has a great smooth hop flavor/bitterness. I FWH all of the time now. You might try it. Either way looks real good to me.

i would maybe lower the crystal to half a pound.

i just did 6lbs vienna,4lbs pilsner, .5amarillo at 60, .5simcoe at 30, .5 of each at 5, and .5 of each dry hop. i havent tasted it yet though. i like your hop schedule and might try that next time.

there a recipe in the database called lake walk pale ale which is amarillo/simcoe and is awesome, but 6oz of hops is a lot to use in a 5gal batch

In the primary for 2 weeks now. Dry hopping son then off to the keg she goes. Give me a few more weeks ;)

Keg this today. The FG was low at 1.07; not sure what went wrong mash temps were good

Should go on tap in a few weeks.

Not sure if you'll be able to tell if the amarillo or sim is giving you what you want or don't want since they were mixed throughout.

Its good next time only 1/2oz each for dry hop. Also I might up the bitterness slightly. it was COLD out when I did the boil and the propane tank was low on pressure so I didnt get as vigorous of a boil as I would have liked.

Over all would brew again but next time I would add ~1lb of Veinna and less dry hop.
