Hey JMG, I haven't had the holiday but I did have the 100 Commemorator and liked it alot - very malty, less than 20 ibu, very enjoyable.

I loved the 100 Commemorator, I was drinking that right before I left. I like that Shiner was 100 and Guinness was 250 the same year. My two go to beers in a bar.

The holiday shiner is . . . different. Its not bad. You get a bit of peaches in the aftertaste but I don't pick up the pecans at all.

I don't care for my Holiday Shiner at all.
