wendsday brewed our 3rd batch russian imperial stout .it is fermenting out of control

twice i cleaned beer off the wall.i ferment with a ale pail.i have a blowoff tube on it but its not helping and i had to put weights on the lid to keep from going over the sides. for a blow off tube im using the siphon hose the kit came with but its not quite a tight a little air/co2 is coming out

i called my lbs and they only had 3/8 witch i have or a 1 inch tube

so what can i do just wait till it calms down and put the air lock back on any advice is needed sorry for the bad spelling im in a rush

buy bigger carboys. 8 gal buckets are the way to go, LOTS of headroom & spigots are so easy to work with.

Go to Lowe's, Home Depot or your local hardware. They should have the size tube you need to get a tight fit.
