I currently have a hefeweizen in my fermenter and i am going to be kegging it for memorial weekend... this my first time kegging and i'm unsure on the amount of priming sugar to add... it's a 5 gallon batch and i'm using an old firestone challenger keg. Also i bought a 4 ounce bottle of peach flavor to add to the beer at kegging but i'm unsure how strong the flavor is and how much to add... i bought it from northern homebrew supply. I don't know if it will help you answer my questions but my recipe is as follows...
P.S. how much CO2 pressure should i have at my regulator... thanks for any info you can give me...
5 oz. Weyermann Pale Wheat
5 oz. Rahr White Wheat
4.5 oz Melanoidin
1.6 oz. Crystal Rye
6 lbs. Wheat Extract
2 oz. Malto Dextrine @ 40 Mins
1 oz. Hallertau @ Start of Boil (1.5% Alpha)
1 oz Hallertau @ 40 mins( 1.5% Alpha)
Wyeast 1010 American Wheat Ale
This was kind of from a recipe... but i substituted quite a bit.... hopefully it comes out alright!
