Sarasota Florida - July 8-12 Gnome Invasion

I'll be in the Sarasota/Siesta Key area for July 8-12. Who wants to share a beer?

Any good spots to go to?

Any direction would be helpful.

It's a bit of a stretch for you, but if it's a rainy day or you're looking to get off of the beach, consider a short trip to Cortez. It's a working fishing village ~45 min. north of Siesta Key. The in laws vacation in that area every year and Mrs. Jass and I have been there quite a few times. While I can not suggest any places for beer, there's a couple restaurants that I'd recommend.

First choice, IMO, is the Star Fish and second is Cortez Kitchen
