Is any one using these in areas where you are fermenting? I have a small room I built in my garage where I ferment, It is sealed off fairly well but still gets a little dusty. Any one have experience with using one?

why? As long as you have an airlock, your good. Unless you are doing fully open fermentation. Then you don't want stuff falling in.

I don't know why? I've been brewing 12 years with out one, and have not needed one. maybe just a little insurance I guess.
