Asian pear wine had ( I THINK) OG of 1.080...been at 1.040 for a few days now. I just racked into a clean carboy. what should I do?

Wait for it to finish?

Make sure it's topped up so you don't have any headspace, and leave it be. I don't usually rack until my wine is at 1.020. If it still hasn't moved in a week or so, then maybe you'll need to pitch more yeast.
 
the sg hasn't moved in a few days ( 3) the air lock is dead still. OK I will let it set a few days and check it again. Thanks again for the help.
 
Like I told you I racked it before posting the question...The air lock hadn't bubbled in a while. It is now bubbling again....slowly but bubbling!!!!
