So I've brewed 3 batches of 5 gallon brews and a few Mr Beers before that. This is my first shot at my own recipe for a Brown(ish) Ale. I was going for something dark brown, roasty/malty, medium bitter and a little hop flavor.
Will do full boil, extract w/ specialty grains:
7lbs pale LME
1lb CaraMunich
1lb Chocolate
1/2lb roasted barley
1oz Cascades (60 mins)
0.5oz Willamette (30 mins)
0.5oz Willamette (10 mins)
White Labs English Ale Yeast
Hope to get ingredients tomorrow and brew on Sunday.
