Sounds tasty! Do you do partial mash brews?
i just started doing partial mashes, i started so i could use up some rye malt i wanted to try and am going to continue with certain recipes.

This is an extract/steeping batch...nice simple brew

Sounds like a winner!

I'm drinking my version of 99's easy Hefe method to which I also added some saaz at the end. Right now it's my favorite bottled HB, perfectly flavorful and refreshing :tank:

Good luck with the batch, sounds like fun! :mug:

lol, i just looked at your recipe, very similar! i think i based my original on a variation of the franziskaner and the paulaner clones from the clone brew books. at least i know it's a winner, eh? :mug:

just cooling my wort now. i only added 1/2 pound of light dme since i didn't have enough for a full pound and my OG was estimated a little high anyway. gonna ferment this puppy at about 65F

If everything goes well she'll be done in 10 days so i can get about 4 days in the keg! :rockin:

Man, checked out the brew this morning...it's going like crazy. i've had some pretty heavy krausen action before but this is actually the first time i've had it blowing up through the blow-off tube!

:rockin: :cross:
