Well, I've had a few of these now. I gave it a solid 2 weeks in secondary, which has paid off in the form of a super clear and clean deep golden color. I had enough other beer around to help me be patient and let it sit in bottles for 4 weeks before even trying one.
Yesterday was the first pour. Mine turned out a little higher ABV than was predicted by the recipe (about 5.9% ABV). It's a good refreshing beer. Although, it has a little bit of an off flavor. Nothing too terrible, but noticeable.
As I am sipping another one, I'm wondering if that off flavor might be from the honey. Just the tiniest bit of a floral notes. So, maybe it isn't an off flavor. Maybe it's intended, but so light that it seems out of place.
If I have more thoughts as I drink more, I'll let you know.
