I made the mistake of using only 1/2 the amount of hops needed for the 60 minute addition to my amber ale. I was suppose to use 2 oz of Cascade but now find that I only added in 1 oz. The beer has been cooled and placed in the fermentor with yeast for about 2 hours.
Anything I can do at this point? I was thinking of just doing a stove top boil with some DME and the missing 1 oz Cascade for 60 minutes. Rapid cool this down and then add this back into the bucket.
Any recommendations...?
