Here is my issue, I did a IIPA 24 hours of FWH due to time constraints. No issues with the boil the wort came out very clear, pitched 2 packs of S-05 at 70 degrees. Fermentation took off great but now about a week after pitching my beer is milky. It turned this way about 2 days after pitching, it doesn't look like suspended trube its pretty thick. I can see a nice yeast cake and trube sitting on the bottom. Any idea what may have caused this?
my recipe is as follows:
12 lbs 2 Row
1 lbs vienna
.5 lbs carapils
.5 lbs caramel 60L
3 lbs extra light dme
all amarillo 1 oz every 10 mins from start of boil to flame out.
S-05
OG 1.087
I haven't taken a gravity yet but the krausen has fallen back into the beer, I had a nice 2" head on it 12 hours after pitching.
