Thanks to everyone who has chimed in on the design and construction of immersion chillers on this site.. After A little digging and "how to" research here I deciced to learn how to solder and make one myself this weekend. Total cost of the build was $73.00.. $46.00 for 50 feet of refrigerator copper tubing and all of the elbows needed and $27.00 for a torch and solder kit. Per suggestions here, I wrapped the tubing around a corny keg to create the coils.. Overall the process took about an hour doing it by myself and was a pretty easy project. Im happy with the results!
