Could it possibly work during the evening this wednesday thursdsay or friday? Does anyone have an idea of how long it would take to empty? I guess it depends on how many siphons we can fit in the barrel.

I fillled out the spreadsheet, great idea! I'm going out of town this sunday and wont be back until january 4th at the soonest. If we can make it happen this week I can get a truck to pick up the barrel. If not I can drop off some cornys for someone to hold my share.

Nevermind, I made plans for sunday but my schedule is pretty flexible so if someone comes up with another date I can probly make it.

So when are we doin it? Does this sunday the 14th around noon work for everyone?

It looks like there are five of us still in on this project, should we just split it five ways and take ~12 gallons each?

I'm out of town the 26th through the 30th this month but can make most other days work. I'm also interested in the barrel and can get a truck to haul it. How many gallons per person are we looking at now?

So whats the plan moving forward? Would it benefit from more time in the barrel or should we figure out a time to split it up?

I'm definitely down for another 10 gallons and am looking to pick up a few barrels of my own for a solera project.

I'm out of town until friday in the last week of June so that weekend would work for me. So stoked to try it!

I have 10 gallons at 1.051

After nearly 4 hours I finally have 12 gallons at 1.046 preboil and pre-maltodextrin. I'll probably run off a bit more to dilute it.

Just doughed in for my second turbid mash attempt, wish me luck!

I attempted to brew my 10 gallons last week but badly scorched the turbid portion. I cant brew again till this thursday. I hope that isn't a problem.
