Im also decorating my kegerator and i had the idea to remove labels from beers that i really like and then glue them to magnet paper that you can buy at staples, its super cheap and removable
I built this kegerator a little over a year ago and added the collar a few months back. The drip tray has a drain that goes into the kegerator and is attached to a mason jar via 3/4" tubing to collect any spillage/overflow
Blichmann auto-sparge installed in 10-gallon cooler. Word of caution though, after installing the auto-sparge, i realized that due to the hole I had to drill in the cooler, I started losing a lot of heat over the course of the mash. I was seeing temperature drops of about 8 degrees over an...
Yeah, I thought about that but I really want it to be an all-in-one box. If I leave the top open while it's running it's fine, but I'm planning on putting a cooling fan in on the back of the box directed at the pump, then a vent right next to the SSR to keep it from overheating when the top is...
So I couldn't resist, and I built a rims tube about a month and a half ago, but didn't build a container for all the electronics. I finally got the time to do it and just finished the build. Its a very simple wiring job. The things I'd still like to do are ground the Rims tube, and also put...
The outlet is wired to supply power to the heating element from the solid state relay. The black power cable comes from the wall to supply all of the power used throughout the toolbox. I just used a simple 1/2 inch strain relief to attach the cable to the wall of the toolbox
Used this bit for the hole for the pump switch, as well as the strain relief for the power cable. I didn't have a 22 mm hole saw, but the 13/16 one I did have worked just fine. It was a bit small but if you just wiggle it a little bit the switch will fit.
