    Pin Lock Corny's

    Here is a stupid question... If you don't fill the keg up to the gas tube, and you can cut the gas tube down...why don't we just leave the gas tube out??? I'm sure that it probably seals the ball lock fitting to the keg itself or something, but its just a question.

    Ok... I just received 5 old pin lock corny's from my dad that are still full of Coke. the problem with them is, only 2 of them have bleeders in the lids. i need to find a way to put bleeder valves into the other 3. can i just drill and tap a 1/4 NPT hole in the lids and pop in a bleeder valve...

    Actually i have to be honest.... I didn't heat the one gallon up while i dissolved the brown sugar into it. i just took a half gallon, put it in a pan and stirred in the brown sugar until it was dissolved. i hope i didn't mess anything up by doing this.
