    Calling it a "Krute"

That is definitely a sweet idea! I see myself shamelessly copying that in the future. Great job/idea! :ban: :mug:

Sweet! :rockin: Any word on pricing yet?

    Anyone know what this is?

Umm, I'm sorry, a whaaa? I'd go along with the liquid nitrogen tank thought. The top probably clamped on similar to a tri clover clamp. I'm sure it was able to hold pressure at some point in it's life, but now....???

    40 quart aluminum pot

Ok, let me keep looking. I'm still wanting something a hair smaller in diameter, but I'll keep this in mind. It looks like I will be out that way on friday instead of thursday, so, I'll let you know.

Aluminum Stock Pot as Mash Tun

I realize this is an old thread, but I found it searching "aluminum mash tun". Has anyone else done anything like this? My idea is to find a stock pot ~13-14" in diameter and slip it into a cut open keg and filling between them with foam. I'd like stainless, but if aluminum works in a MLT, I'll...

Can you send me a pic and/or some dimensions? I'm looking for something ~13 to 14in in diameter... I'll be in that area on thursday or friday.

    Growler serving setup

Seeing as how you're in Tucker, you're fairly close to the Beer Growler in Avondale Estates. You might want to see if they might help with some of this advice. (Maybe a long shot if you're going to be a competitor, but who knows, they seem like pretty cool people.) As far as Perlick faucets...

    Hop screen help

No, sorry, I was actually talking about JoshuaWhite5522. The link he posted in his first post was to some plastic perf. He stated it would be laying on the bottom of his kettle. Steam? I may have confused some threads... :drunk: :mug:

    Hop screen help

One thing to consider is that the perforated plastic you linked to has a max temp of 200*F...or did I miss something?

Looking for legit kegs in Atlanta.

Just to be clear, I don't in any way mean to say that anyone should expect a free keg. What I asked for when I went in was to buy a decommissioned keg (ie: unusable otherwise...), so... ya don't go asking for a keg giveaway type deal... breweries have to buy them, so do you...:p

Looking for legit kegs in Atlanta.

Hmm, you might want to try stopping by in person at Sweetwater vs calling. I did a few months ago and was told that they didn't have any at that time, but to check back after their expansion was done since they would likely have a bunch after that from purchasing so many new kegs... Sometimes...

BrewMasters Warehouse (now, rising from the ashes!)

I'm lucky enough to live pretty close to BMW and work regularly takes me within 10 mins of them or so. I've always had great experiences with them and as an outsider looking in, I think I'd attribute things like this to growing pains. If you've "liked" them on Facebook (and everyone should;))...

How many kegs do you own?

6 five gallon ball locks here, and not a darn one of them is full. Wait...no...one has star-san in it.....:(
