    3rd Circle Brewery

I wouldn't change a thing. It is classic art brought to people who might not otherwise get the chance to appreciate it for what it is, stark and emotional. This is how the Church was able to gain such power in the middle ages on..... imagery. Plus there is a story to the name and a theme...

    Primary Mod

And of course the fine folks at BYO magazine almost stole my thunder. I got my May/June issue today and lo' and behold they have an article on pimping your plastic bucket including the Gamma Seals in my post above. See, I KNEW it was a good idea.

    More electric boil kettle questions

Let me know how it works out. If you find that you need a different wattage element or want to talk about the efficiency of a different element, let me know. I may be able to get something custom built for you at little or likely no charge.

    More electric boil kettle questions

Being in the electric process heating industry ( www.durexindustries.com semiconductor processing, chemical processing, plastics processing, aerospace and temperature sensing) I would suggest staying away from monkeying around with the LM555 type timers unless you want to spend more time...

    Slacker's HomeBrew Labels

Sorry if this is a double post.. this is the first time I've seen this site. Beerbuilder Label Maker I prefer to do my own but I have a tendency to want to slack from time to time. It's a fun way to genrate spoof labels if nothing else. -J

    Primary Mod

I ordered a few of these from US Plastic. It is a lid that goes permanently on your 3-6.5 gallon bucket and has a screw-on removable lid inside. It makes things easier and I feel that it will enable a plastic bucket primary to last longer...

    Party Pig??

Cool mod.. did you put a pressure gauge on the Pig anywhere? I'm curious as to how much pressure is required and, more inportantly, how much is too much?

Yep, the 4lb can. I just put a stout in the primary yesterday so I will likely load up another one using the Edme and the amber. Thanks!

    Newbie Question- Edme Kit

After brewing a Cooper's kit I decided to grab a kit/can of Edme Devilishly Red Amber from the LHBS. The instructions say it makes 13 liters OR 23 liters (in more than one place). With only ONE can what should my volume of wort really be? I have a few options on a fermentable ranging from...
