Hey im just wondering how long can crushed grain stay for? its been about a week im just wondering if i should use it up straight away or can it wait another week?
im really thinking of trying different herbs and stuff to replace hops because you can always get beer with hops but you cant that easily beer with different herbs :)

Just wondering if anyone heard of Sinicuichi its this plant from mexico and southern United States.
It has a bitter taste and some euphoric effects just wondering would u think it would be a good try to make a batch with replacing the hops?
also does it really matter to cool it down to 70? even if u add about 3 more gallons to the 2 gallons of wort
since when u mix it in it seems like it will just even out the temperature
Hey whats the best and easiest way to transfer wort from pot to the carboy?
When i tried to siphon one of the pieces fell of and now its fermenting with it since i cant get it out in anyway.
so i just siphon into a new carboy? couldn't i just add more yeast? to primary?
after i siphon do i add anything new ? or just leave it for another week?
This confuses me a bit when i start fermenting i leave it for a week or so and then if i wanted to go do secondary what should i do?
