Well the half bottle I got to drink was awesome! I think I'll put the next one in a big bowl and see if I can catch more of it, thanks static. Oh and I'll be sure to grow a little facial hair for next brew/bottle day!

I have no experience with open air fermentation, but it doesn't look like regular yeast rafts to me. It could be a normal thing for the style. It'd be interesting to know how it turns out.

The Boise Co-Op has Bigfoot for $9.99 a sixer. I picked up two packs the other day.

I just put it in the nylon bag, dunked the whole thing in starsan and then dropped it in the secondary. My beer turned out great, but I would think you could boil it and then dump all of it into the secondary. I would just be concerned about losing flavor or potency.

I just finished bottling, and ended up with a 1.012 FG. While racking into the bottling bucket, all I could smell was peppercorn! I am drinking the 8 oz or so that is left over and it tastes like a winner, can't wait for this one to carb up! I'll come back with a pint picture in about a month.

Ugh, I almost puked a little in my mouth. Had to take a gulp of my homebrewed Ginger Ale to keep that down. BMC tastes like metal to me, and the horror of it warm is indescribable.

It's just Bud Light in a blue glass bottle.
