    How long is Deer good for in my freezer?

    I got my first buck at the end of December 2013 and butchered it. Made most of it into jerky but I shrink wrapped the back straps and put them in zip lock bags. I pulled them out of the freezer to have a look last night. There is no visible freezer burn on the meat. Would you still eat it?

    Either way it will be fine, but once bottled keep them at room temp so the yeast will force carb the bottles.

    I left it in the primary 9 days, 7 secondary, the 3 weeks in the bottle. I used 3 cans of pumpkin in the mash. Pretty good stuff.

    That sounds like what happened to my ahs Pumpkin ale I just brewed. Just really slows down quick. Just give it time, mine turned out great!

    I am brewing AHS holiday brew that has been in the primary for 3 weeks still seems to have a large krausen on top. I'm thinking thats a little long to be fermenting. My air lock still bubbles about every 10 - 15 seconds. 3 days ago I racked it into a secondary to get it off the yeast cake. Then...
