[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

New to the R-Pi world, never the less I installed Raspbian, then got RaspberryPints-2.0.1 up and running, no problems. I can edit/add/delete beers-kegs when working on the Pi unit itself. I can see the web page from any device in my house. I love it. I can log in to the admin side from my...

    new hops shoots being eaten

I have some hops growing in my yard, this year they seemed to be growing slow, so i start looking in to why, and all new shoots are being eaten, by pill bugs, rolly pollies, or what ever you call them. any ideas on how to control them? or even prevent them, I use bark but this have never...

    What's Goin on

All that you are seeing is cold break proteins that have clumped together, your yeast will get happy and they will break that up. Once the yeast are done, it should all settle to the bottom of your carboy. I see nothing to worry about. Enjoy

    Another keg-hopping question...

what you do is put you hops for dry hopping in to a bag that you have soaked in a starsan solution, in the keg first, then you fill the keg with Co2, the Co2 displaces the oxygen within the hops, then fill keg with yummy beer.

    Home brewery

here in WA its not hard to do this, 1. the outbuilding must get a "home occupation" permit from city or county and must comply with all ADA stuff, and meet all regular codes for plumbing, health, electric, fire etc... 2. apply to the Liquor Control Board. 90+day process 3. apply to the TTB...

geothermal fermentation cooling - will it work?

Ok, I listened. I went straight to the 275gal IBC tote ($100), and picked up 200ft of some 3/4in water main line tubing, the pump will push outside temp water from the IBC thru the 3/4 line to my 2, 1/2 copper coils buried in the wetlands behind my brewery, come back up in the 3/4 line be used...

geothermal fermentation cooling - will it work?

Excellent info here, when i do brew it would be only once or twice given week, my brewery building has a temp controlled AC unit to keep the building at 65 all the time. this cooling system would be just to cool the wort, once it is at fermenting temps and transferred , i would place a...

geothermal fermentation cooling - will it work?

This info is great, I like the fact that if someone puts out a rough idea that has potential, others can supply/help with missing parts of the plan, and not just dismiss it as a dumb idea. we all have situations that are different, where my plan will not work for you, and yours will not work...

geothermal fermentation cooling - will it work?

well i have a few reasons, living in western WA my ground water is about 45-55deg, first is saving water and not wasting it and i think its cheaper than some other options i could have pursued. 1. if i want to keep each fermentor at a different temp, a separate temp controller can use the...
