Too bad I only just saw this thread. I roast a pound a week of beans from Sweet Marias. A personal favorite that we buy by the 20# bag is their Altiplano Blend.

Having a cup of French Press Honduran beans right now.

My youngest had colic. For 3 months she would cry all night long. I would get maybe 2-3 hours of sleep each night. I was walking dead for a while there. We survived. Now we look back and go "yeah, remember that? She was such a cute baby".

My first wife was crazy. She's currently divorced from husband #5. I was #1. Dodged a bullet by divorcing her quick. I was in the Navy back then. I did 4 years and always wished I had done the 20. I would have retired almost 10 years ago.

My oldest is 25. I missed much of her life while she was with her mom. She's about to graduate from Colorado School of Mines with her engineering degree. The Navy is courting her for the nuclear program. Cheers!

Doin good here. Daughter is gearing up to start her sophomore year in hs. Should be a good one for her.

Double brew day today. It's 0dark30 and it's gonna be a long day. We'll have 20bbl of märzen in the fermenters when it's done. Our next beer to be canned.

Monsoon is about to kick off! My favorite time of year. the cicadas start to make some noise, the sky starts to make some noise, everything turns green again. I think I'll brew something at home today.

We made it down to pH 3.4 finally. Boiled it and added the sea salt and coriander yesterday. It's in the fermenter now. I knew the owner/head brewer of this place years ago, while he was just starting to plan the business. He's a graduate of brew science school from the American Brewers Guild...

I'm thinking of giving up all-grain and going back to extract w/specialty grains. There's a lot of DME options now and such a time saver. We brewed a kettle sour gose yesterday at work. Starting Ph was 4.8. I'm interested to see where its at today.

I know this story well. Having been a brewer for over 20yrs and doing it for a living for nearly 4yrs, I roll my eyes at how trendy beer has become. Oh well.
