    California Analog Temperature Contriller ($35)

I have an analog temp controller for sale. It is just like the one shown on the link below. http://morebeer.com/products/analog-temperature-controller.html I bought this, used it for a very short time and then I sold all of my brewing equipment. Somehow this was forgotten. It works just like it...

Southern California All of my equipment $550 All Grain/Extract/BIAB ready

I hate to sell this stuff but I have limited time and limited space, not to mention that heavy alcohol consumption conflicts with the training schedule a bit.

Is a FG of 1.020 too high?

I force carbed. I am not a cider drinker typically which may explain why I think it is too sweet. It is growing on me though.

Is a FG of 1.020 too high?

At 1.012, I kegged. Sweeter than I would like but someone (me) will drink it.

Is a FG of 1.020 too high?

I think 1.000 for a sweet cider is going to be too low. I plan to stop it early but I am not sure where the best point is for a sweetish cider.

Is a FG of 1.020 too high?

I'll keep this short... I made a cider: 5 gallons of Tree Top Apple Juice 1lb of Brown sugar 0.5lb of Corn Sugar S-04 Yeast OG 1.062 After 2 weeks I have an FG of 1.020. I want it to be somewhat sweet but will it be crazy sweet at 1.020? I tasted the gravity sample and it was sweet but and...

Hey Keggers! whats your method to force carbonate?

Chill fermentor, keg, crank to 30 psi and rock he keg on it's side for 5 minutes. Place in kegerator for 1 hour or more to let it settle a bit. Turn off the co2. Very very slowly bleed off all of he head pressure. Gas up to serving pressure and go. I did this yesterday and it worked quite well.

    Did you break even yet?

My first year I kept things simple. I did a few extract batches and then I went all grain BIAB. I was bottling during that time and it took me one year to break even based on a cost spreadsheet I made. I used $7.99 per 6 pack as a comparison. I have since spent some money on equipment...

Broken refrigerator for a ferm chamber?

Hey folks, I just saw on craigslist a broken refrigerator for 35 bucks. The seller claims it cools but not enough for food. I was contemplating buying it and using it with a temp controller to ferment. My thought is that since it only needs to get as low as 60 degrees for my needs it may...
