    Doing my first pumpkin tomorrow - strain out the pumpkin or no?

    I strained out all the pumpkin following the boil, and now I'm not sure it was worth the effort. It smells awesome, the hydro sample tasted pretty good, too; but i think i should have just left it in the primary. ymmv, but i'd say dont bother straining.

    36hr. Fermentation???

    The only way to really know for sure is to check the SG a few days in a row. If it stays pretty constant, then you're probably done fermenting. 36hrs seems pretty quick to me, though.
