    All my beer comes out sweet!!

    OK, I have brewed 5 batches now, well brewed more, but 5 have been bottled 3 plus weeks and I have tried them. So far they all have been pretty sweet and very little hop presence. I have not brewed any kits, only recipes I have come up with on my own and I seem o be getting terrible hops...

    my brewhouse smells like banana nut bread

    So instead of renting out my guest house I have turned it into a brew-house! My first two batches are in primary fermentation right now, been there a couple days and now the house smells like banana nut bread. Is this a normal smell? I always thought fermenting wort smelled kinda bad, this stuff...

    ok to leave in primary an extra 1-2 weeks?

    So I just found out about a business trip I have to go one and my first two batches should be ready to move to secondary vessel around the time I leave. Is there any issue with leaving them in the primary for an extra week or two, will make close to 4 weeks total.
