    ANVIL FOUNDRY ALL-GRAIN BREWING SYSTEM

Yep, switch flipping is the wildcard. I’m not sure what internal protection there is, if any, so I have reminders zip tied to all plugs. I’m old.

If you put a 220v plug on you can purchase a 220 to 110 adaptor and be legit. You can toggle the switch by using a flat blade through the side instead of removing cover.

    Whats your white whale?

A complex Summer Stout. Think Rick Bayless mole sauce, not the flavor obviously, the complexity and layering. Plus something lighter for the summer months. Haven’t found a commercial example so maybe it’s not possible but I keep trying. I think in general Stouts could use a facelift.

Anvil Foundry, Going to Brewer’s He!! For This.

Going to break out the 20 gallon Blichmann for Corn tomorrow and perhaps beer brats in the Anvil if there is not enough room on the grill.

Hadn’t even thought of that. Did consider hot Nitro Brew, for a brief second.

Komos V2 kegerator digital controls help

If there is not a “set” button normal practice would be to hold up or down arrow until temp flashes, 3-5sec, then adjust temp. Hope that helps/works.

    Oatmeal Stout Yooper's Oatmeal Stout

Does anybody have a current link to an online store with the correct Black Barley (Stout)? I’m about to brew this again but I want to make sure I’m using the right grain as first batch, like cgoleberg3, was a little harsh. Thanks.

Almost 20lbs of beef tenderloin. Like I said there were a lot of people and some didn’t pull their weight only option was the Foundry.

Nope, but I thought about a basil infusion using the hop rocket.

Nope, that’s what bread is for.

Anvil Foundry, Going to Brewer’s He!! For This.

I was nervous at first but we had a big gathering so I thought why not. Staining was not an issue, a little PBW and it’s as good as new. Certainly won’t be a weekly thing but when the size of the group dictates it, I will do it again. This is not an endorsement for other use, although sous vide...

Has anybody used their Anvil Foundry for anything other than brewing? I’ve used it for chili, spaghetti sauce and sous vide. The last not that terrible but just wondering if anyone else has committed this sin against the grain gods.
