    Big difference using monofloral?

Yeah, I mean eastern mass is one of the best places for craft brewers. So there are a lot of us.

    Big difference using monofloral?

Gold, et al. Thanks for the replies. I tasted the mead at sunset grill, FYI. My other motivation for mead making is to be able to approximate the "hornets nest" cocktail from my favorite bar Deep Ellum, at home. Which consists of rye whiskey and mead, plus bitters and lemon juice I think. At $10...

    Big difference using monofloral?

I had cleaned the pipe out earlier wit star san and there was still water inside it. You know where this is going... That's right, I put it in the boil with the water still...

Headed to Pittsburgh, PA - What Should I Do?

It's not in Meadville exactly, actually like 20 minutes away. Here's the site: http://www.sleepingchainsaw.com/brew_works.htm I spelled it wrong naturally. They have good beer there, I guess you have to go there or get growlers, not sold retail. The atmosphere is just awesome, in a...

Headed to Pittsburgh, PA - What Should I Do?

Lots of stuff in Pittsburgh. There's also stuff up north, more secret, hidden gems. Spragues brewery in an old barn and of course Voodoo in meadville, I've seen voodoo beer as far away as Philly so they've got something going on.
