    Weak apple crop? (US - upstate NY)

    To keep the seed spreading animals guessing (bears, deer, etc.), wild apple trees adapted a biennial tendency and will have a heavy crop every other year. In southeast PA, I’m also seeing low crop yields in the wild apple trees here. Last year was heavy. I believe this is what you are observing.
