    thanks dudes, i'll take a reading in a couple days and go from there.

    brewed a black ipa on saturday(11-19) bubbling in airlock started that night and is still going so strong that i had to refill the airlock for the 4th time today(11-23). used wyeast 1056 american ale and temps seem to be what they should be. should i be concerned?

    the heat was on when i added the extract, won't do that again. so you could taste it, but the beer was'nt ruined was it?

    was brewing some wheat beer last night and accidentally let some of the malt extract get to the bottom of the kettle and scorch. could this be a problem with the finished beer?

    grain bag broke

    i was brewing some red ale last night and one of my grain bags broke during the steeping process. i got most of the loose grain out of the wort but didn't get it all. will this mishap lead to a bad tasting beer?
