    nitrogen noob question

    hi i just got my hands on a pub style gas tank, its 70% nitrogen and 30% co2, will i be able to force cab my kegs the sameway im used to with co2, or will the nitrogen behave differently.

    slow beer pour

    i have a little problem with a very slow pour from my kegerator, my beer is cooled to 4 c i have approx 9ft of 3/16 beer line the pressure is approx 12 - 15 psi, somebody told me i needed 9ft of beer line or is this too long or too short.

    help with balancing my setup

    hi was after a little help with balancing my keg system,everytime i pull a beer its too foamy, i have a cornelius keg my beer is cooled to 3 celcius, the tube i have is approx 10mm and it is 7ft long, and i am using the set and forget method at 12-15 psi to carb and serve.     Youngs pear cider funny smell

    I have been brewing my first cider, its been 2 weeks now and i have noticed a funny egg smell coming from my bucket, it smells quite bad and off putting, i was wondering if anybody has has the same experence, also i plan to keg the cider in corny kegs, whats the best way to do this... 3 weeks...

    how long to leave until kegging

    hi i have just got my cornelius kegs and wanted to ask a few noobish questions. i normally leave my brew in fermintation for 3 weeks then bottle and leave for another 3 weeks. So this time, after fermintation do i just syphon beer into keg and leave for a few weeks or straight into fridge...

    cloudy beer when in fridge

    am i doing something wrong my beer bottles are lovely and clear in the cupboard but when i place in fridge for a few days they become cloudy :(. all my beer is left 3 weeks primary then 3 weeks conditioning.

    am i infected

    hi by brew has been sat in primary for 3 weeks now, its bottling day and i opened the lid and there seems to be some little white floating bits is this a bad thing, it was a kit from coopers lager its been sat at 19 - 21 c thanks

    ready to add priming sugar

    hi i am ready to bottle my first batch i have decided to syphon into clean empty bucket and add my priming sugar, the problem i have is how much do i add, ive seen people say add 3/4 of a cup, so u mean a normal drinking cup ?? also i have brewing sugar is this ok to use. thanks

    carbonate beer bottles

    hi i am soon going to be bottling my beer, i have enough carbonation drops for approx 20 bottles. so i am going to add sugar direct into my other bottles, my question is how much and what sugar do i need to add to 568 ml bottles, i am brewing lager, thanks
