    Scotish Ale Kit No Action...

I brewed a Scotish Ale kit over a week ago. I checked on it every nite and have never gotten the air lock to bubble. Opened the lid tonight and not much foam or trup on the top, but smelled like beer. I am going to take a gravity reading pretty quick. But I am nervous that nothing is...

    Just another kegging question...

Kornkob: Thanks for the quick response. That gives me a little reassurance. I plan on moving it to the carbonation keg (hook-up to CO2) for a week or so. I just didn't want to spoil the beer as I have made it this far. Thanks again!

    Just another kegging question...

I have been using Paul's Homebrewing website as a guide for kegging. http://cruisenews.net/brewing/kegging/index.php I used a corny keg as my secondary and transfered to the clearing keg a couple of days ago. I went down this am to release some pressure on the keg and it didn't have much...

    Kegging beer question...

Yet another dumb question. Does anyone also add sugar to the keg and hook-up to CO2? Or is that over kill? SORRY!

    Kegged my first IPA tonight...

I racked my first IPA Extract beer to the keg tonight. Everything went smooth. I am using the keg as my secondary fermenter. I believe I will let it sit for a week and then move to the clarifying keg for another week. At this point move to a serving keg and carbonate for a week. Does...

    Kegging with Soda Corny Kegs...

My first IPA extract brew is working it's magic in the fermenting bucket as I type (three days). I have spent the last couple of nights cleaning and sanitizing bottles. What a job! So I made a call to my friend that works for Soda Distributor to see if he could get me a couple of soda kegs...

    Sanitizing Grolsch Flip Tops

I picked-up 24 of these Grolsh Flip top bottles. They are used. I socked them in warm soapy water for a half of a day. Cleaned them up. Can I use No Rinse to sanitize these bottles? Why replace the gaskets? Thanks!

I need to pick-up a couple of things. Would you recommend using a plastic bucket for secondary? or a glass carboy? I also need a siphon hose. I need to make a list. Thaks for your help and suggestions.

    Fermentation Lock Problem...Please advise!

Thanks. Your posts have put me at ease. I am heading over to my not-so local 25 minute drive homebrew shop on Weds. I will pick-up a grommet! Being new to brewing, forum and posting...I thank you for the fast response.

    Fermentation Lock Problem...Please advise!

I finished my first extract beer last night. It went real smooth. I went down stairs to check on the fermentor. I thought I might have a little to much water in the fermentation lock. So I removed the fermentation lock to empty a little of the water. When I went to put the lock back in the...
