California Electric Brewery Setup + Blichmann Conical Setup

One more quick update, the prices I listed were based on selling as a package and without shipping costs. I would really prefer to sell all together, so prices for breaking it up will be higher per item. If you are interested in something in particular feel free to send me a DM and post to...

Long duct run for indoor brewery ventilation

Thanks Brewbyrd! So do you think having a better supply of intake area will impact condensation?

Long duct run for indoor brewery ventilation

Here are some pics. I added aluminum duct tape to the inlet hood joint in order to make it a smoother transition. I also tilted the hood to slope toward the drain to promote condensate running to that location. Going to give it a try again in a week or so and see if any of that helped. Thank...

Long duct run for indoor brewery ventilation

Thanks for feedback all! There is a lot of condensation in the condensate hood. So much so, that it is dripping off the hood and back into my kettles. I do not have any baffles on my condensate hood, it is a simple stainless steel box with a vent hole at the top. What I'm wondering is if I...

Long duct run for indoor brewery ventilation

Thank you for feedback. I know it is not 100% additive, but do you happen to know how to calculate equivalent CFM of two fans in series with one another? Also, technically the opening in the hood is the lowest point in the entire system. Is that a bad design?

Long duct run for indoor brewery ventilation

I poked around the forms a bit and could not find an answer to this question. I have my electric brewery up and running. On my first brew day, all went well except I am getting a serious amount of condensation in my condensate hood. The hood is 5' long x 2' wide x 1' tall. It is 2 ft...

    California SF Bay Area: Stainless Steel (304) Condensate Hood 5' x 2' x 1'

I am installing the non-dented hood tomorrow and will take pictures and post to this thread. A little bit more information I forgot to include: This hood was build by Larkin Hoods (http://www.larkinhoods.com/) It is their standard economy hood that was made to the custom dimensions I...

    WTB stainless condensate hood

I realize this post is old, but I'm about to hang my condensate hood and wanted to see if you had any advice. It looks like you used strut? Did you just bolt that to joists and then hang threaded rod from it?
