Here are some pics. I added aluminum duct tape to the inlet hood joint in order to make it a smoother transition. I also tilted the hood to slope toward the drain to promote condensate running to that location. Going to give it a try again in a week or so and see if any of that helped. Thank...

I realize this post is old, but I'm about to hang my condensate hood and wanted to see if you had any advice. It looks like you used strut? Did you just bolt that to joists and then hang threaded rod from it?
