    Wood Aging?

    I thought I had tasted a beer not long ago that used ash or birch. I also thought of cherry as something to try. As I recall the beer had a subtle aged flavor with a nice somewhat sweet/floral taste. I thought it was pretty good at the time.

    Kegerator/Keezer Thermostat Setting?

    Yes, using a Ranco controller. I believe it is set to 5 degree range but I have to double check that. I do not have the thermo probe in a bag or anything to buffer the readings...maybe they were cycling more than they needed to.
