    Wisconsin Beer Festival this weekend!!!

My wife and I were considering it, but we did the Boat tour between Lakefront, Milwaukee Ale House and Rock Bottom. Then went out for dinner and by that time neither of us was good for getting safely behind a wheel. :(

    Milwaukee Boat Tour

Too bad some of you guys cannot make it. Yooper, I figured it would be tough for you to make being out of town. Actually a friend of mine saw this tour on the Beer Nutz program and I decided to organize a trip based on what he saw. For $26 you really cannot go wrong. Hopefully more Milwaukee and...

    Milwaukee Boat Tour

Too bad you won't be able to be up here for it. I know Rhoobarb is coming up from Chicago for this. Hoping a few more of the Chicago contingent will be making it also. I booked during Summerfest so out of town folks can tie this in with a Summerfest day and not just drive up, sit on a boat and...

    Madisonians Meet-up?

Ale Asylum is a great place if you ever do make it there. I was there with some of the KC folks that came into town for Great Taste. Very good beer and very friendly place. As for Milo, didn't he do his post grad work at UW-Madison? If you ever head down Milwaukee way, let us know would...

    New from Milwaukee

Another Milwaukee guy here. Actually Tosa, but only 7 blocks one way and 3 the other, so it is just easier to tell folks Milwaukee. J

    Roman's - Milwaukee

Roman's is fantastic. Mike is a great guy and has a fantastic selection of beers on tap. I try to make it there as often as I can, which unfortunately equates to a 4-5 times a year only. Now that I have a friend that lives in walking distance, it makes it much easier.

    Milwaukee Brewers Vs. Chicago Cubs

I know it is a LONG way off but the Brewers and Cubs meet on Sept. 27th this year at Miller Park. Last year I organized a group to go. This year I plan on doing the same and would love to meet some of the folks from here that I have not met yet. Check out the info in this link. I would...

    Fall SEWAGE Brewers get together?

Well I just talked to Eric Wolf who I assumed was Wolf here on this board but it is not. Strange, Eric also lives in Racine and is about the same age. That is what confused me!!! J

    Milwaukee Visit - Tourist Stuff

It is the Y-Not, but the original Y-Not is gone, but there is the Y-Not II and the Y-Not Y-Not Y-Not. I would guess your sister was talking about the Y-Not II. It is a pretty fun little place. That is usually a holiday spot when friends come into town. My wife used to live just up the road from...

    Milwaukee Visit - Tourist Stuff

Angelo's is a complete trip. I used to go there every Wednesday about 10 years ago. It was a regular hangout for our group of friends. The old lady playing the piano and the guy just singing some standards. That place is classic. As for the zoo, it is still one of the top rated in the...

fishing for ideas for the next SEWAGE meeting

Not a bad idea, just wondering about how many folks would want to drive that far. Maybe try to get a tour of some of the smaller brewpubs locally like Stonefly, Water Street and Milwaukee Ale House as a single day local trip?? On a side note, there is a group of area brewers going camping the...
