    I pitched my stir bar!

    Well, after pitching countless starters, I finally forgot the stir bar yesterday and pitched it with my yeast! I was cleaning my flask afterward and realized the stir bar was no longer in it and that I had forgotten to use a magnet to hold it to the side of the flask when I pitched. Oh well...

    This year's Corsendonk Christmas Ale

    Has anyone else had this year's Corsendonk Christmas Ale yet? I've had it on draft (tasted ok but not as "rich" as in past years) and I just opened a bottle, and it really doesn't taste very good. Not at all like in years past. I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed a difference this year.
