    Can't drink anymore.

I'm going to take a course at the new sports complex. I'm looking at harnesses and shoes right now so I don't have to keep renting them. I just looked at Bon Echo Park and there's over 100 climbs in that park, won't be outdoors until summer, all indoors this winter. Taps Are Sold, thanks...

    Can't drink anymore.

It's because of new medications I'm on, severe reactions with alcohol already tried and almost ended up in the hospital. I'm looking into rock climbing, have a new facility here in town and I'm going to take some lessons.

    Can't drink anymore.

Well the doctor says I can't drink ANY alcohol anymore so I've got to get rid of a few things. I've got 2 chrome taps (1 self closing), 2 shanks, and 2 handles that I've never used. The shank in the image with the green handle is 4 1/2" and the shank with the black handle is 3 1/2". The...

    Hop lover's guide

I just received my copy of the hop lover's guide today, WOW!!! Full of recipes and information. I can see myself reading this cover to cover until the pages disintegrate. The recipes from DFH and SN are worth the price alone, then come the charts, from listing the high/low AA and BA to a...

    Orange beer

well my first attempt at using fresh orange peel seems to have gone wrong. I used a cheese grater to grate the zest and mad sure I had no pith. I put 1.5 oz in at 10 mins left in the boil. I tasted it when I transferred and it was ok a little bitter. We ll I tasted it when I bottled and it...

    Cockroaches Anyone?

I grew up in Toronto and we were overrun with them, I mean I used to fight them for my cereal in the mornings. Same with a few apartments I had. The best thing I found was boric acid along all baseboards. It takes fprever to get rid of them and if you're in a townhouse, your neighbors have...

    Time to rant

The problem is when the owner isn't there he's the only one. The do have some stuff in the fridge, but haven't seen it myself, the wife has. he's got 6-7 large copper pots for brewing. I'd say they're around 15g. I never see them used, his wine room is always filled though.

    Growing hops indoors

We already have some vines growing indoors. I was just thinking that being so late in the season I'd just keep them indoors for now. But I guess I could put them in the garden now. How deep 3"?

    Growing hops indoors

ok so when I get some plants going (this weekend) I may want to grow some indoors. For those of you who grow your own, I need to know do they stink? or do they just smell like purdy flowers.

Do you let the fermenter sit still before transferring?

I move the fermenter the day before then when I transfer I keep the racking cane about an inch from the top of the liquid the whole time. and don't tip to get the last drop.

    Must have grains/hops

I'm just across from Teletech if you know where that is, just off Old Barrie Road. Let me know next time you're in town. I think a coffee shop is ok. Oh yeah I used to make donuts for that place.
