    What's up with your name?

Arturs Irbe was my favorite hockey player as a child. "Like Wall" for those that remember. Anyways, I used the handle for my first AOL dial up email address when I was 11 and it's always just stuck. It's a bit embarrassing now that I'm in my 30's, but it's a part of me.

    What celebrity do you resemble?

As a teenager, I heard Jonathan Brandis more times than I care to admit. Which is funny because I thought he was goofy looking. As a man in my thirties; no one.

Can I get a Bass Lager

Fat Tire is a pale ale, too. Ridiculous prices on some of the as well.

    Galaxy hops

Just throwing it out there, I've had 8-bit and it was the can that made me buy it. One of the coolest beer cans I've ever seen, and the beer was good, too.

    What are you drinking now?

    Mission IPA. Cheers.

Going to Brew a Belgian IPA

    Personally, I don't rehydrate dry yeast. Some do, some don't. Po-TA-to, po--tah-to.

    S**t Beer Geeks Say

Has anyone else seen this video? I think we're all guilty of one or two of these. My favorite line is the one about the extra capacity. Enjoy! http://vimeo.com/64558227

    Another newbie to kegging

Another note, it takes time for the gas to be absorbed in the beer, that's why people shake/roll the keg. They're trying to get the gas into solution faster. I prefer the set it and forget it method. It takes longer, but you can't over carbonate your beer...unless your psi is turned way up...

    Another newbie to kegging

Force carbonating is using an external source to carbonate the beer. You're using a co2 tank to force gas into the beer and the beer absorbs the co2 into solution. The yeast aren't eating sugar and releasing co2 that is trapped like in bottle/natural carbonation. That's the only difference...

Going to Brew a Belgian IPA

    1) I always dump sanitizer after use. Fill up a bucket with it and use it to put equipment in that needs to be sanitized. Also, if you have a clean spray bottle, fill it up from the bucket for future use. You can spray sanitize things like your hydrometer. I always keep some on hand. 2) that...

    Is my beer ruined?

That's the spirit. When you have finished mourning your loss, brew it again.

    So pissed off right now....

I just jokingly replied to your other thread about this. Didn't realize it was an entire keg, but yes, I have done this. I lost a keg of oatmeal stout because I forgot to tighten the liquid line barb fitting. It sucks and I feel for ya. I'm pretty sure I played Taps that night.

Just get a long straw. Problem solved.

    Reality TV - Seriously, WTF?

Game Center Live on the Roku or Xbox. I go to my brothers house for the blacked out games, which was a lot more than I thought there would be. All playoff games are blacked out, too, which means I won't pay for that service again.
