Noticed this with my first kit after primary of 2 weeks. So now I just leave it for 3 weeks before looking at it again. LHBS recomendation. Usually ferment my brews around 62-64.
I can't get a lot of good brews in Jersey and don't want to buy by the case from pa.
Also like experimenting with the different Hosp and grains and process.
DIY'ing brew equipment is also fun and challenging.
1.Do starter.
2.Decant (cold crash and pour only liquid out)
3.Pour 80% of yeast into sanitized jar
4.Do starter with 20% of leftover yeast
5.decant
Repeat step 3-5
Do until step 3 has about 4L of yeast.

This will probably take 12 days. Try to get a 2L or larger flask. :(
