    Do I need more yeast?

I brewed a double IPA yesterday. Had a yeast starter prepared Monday. Once I filled my fermentation bucket and put the yeast in, I realized the bucket was too full, so I poured some back out. My concern is that it is not bubbling very much and my question is should I add more yeast? What are the...

Help! My bucket is too full!

Thanks everyone! It's about a 6 gallon bucket and a 5 gallon batch. I had 5 1/4 gallons of water, which I figured would burn down a bit, but then added all the malt, 7 types of hops, etc. I will put a blow-off tube on. You all are great. Thanks again for the quick responses!

Help! My bucket is too full!

So apparently I didn't leave enough room at the top of my fermentation bucket and now I have a mess...see picture. What do I do now? I just brewed it yesterday. Just leave it? Should I siphon it to another bucket and leave the trub behind? Or just pour some out? Or use a sterile cup to get some...

Here's my video entry for Sierra Nevada's Beer Camp Contest. The song has almost all their beer names in it. Anyone else submitting a video for this contest?

That looks great! Thank you for the picture. Can you give me more details on what you did? That's exactly what I think I'm going to do. Also, where did you get the external temp display?

    Show us your Kegerator

This weekend I converted this freezer into a refrigerator by installing an external thermometer. I had to modify my workbench to fit it. Now I need to drill hole and add tubing, faucet, handles ect. I'm wondering if there is any way to drill a hole for the CO2. I'm afraid to drill through the...

    Regulator Damage or Not?

I pulled a classic rookie move and turned my tank pressure down while I had 30psi in my keg. Yep, beer all up in my regulator. What should I do now? Clean it somehow? It seems to work, but I'm imagining it's sticky inside. Do I need to buy a new one? Thanks!

Help! I forgot to purge my keg!

The "Magic Brew" came out perfect! Five gallon keg was gone in an hour. This is only my 3rd time brewing by myself, but I've never had such a great response! I don't think I'll ever bottle again... Thanks for the support!

Help! I forgot to purge my keg!

Thanks guys. I released the pressure, purged the oxygen, and repressurized the tank. This Honey Lager is for a birthday party for my 2 sons, and we're expecting 60 people today. We're having a magician stop by (they're turning 4&7), so this batch is named Magic Brew. Cheers!

Help! I forgot to purge my keg!

This is my first time kegging. I put 30psi on and put it in the fridge, but I forgot to purge the oxygen. Have I ruined the beer?
